Jct 15 off the M4, travel south along the A346 to Marlborough where you continue south on the A345 towards Pewsey. Around a mile past the village of Oare and half a mile prior to the canal on the outskirts of Pewsey, on a sharp near side bend, you will see a brown information sign for Woodborough Garden Centre, follow these signs, turn right off the A345, pass over the canal bridge until you reach a cross roads. At this jct go straight over and down a narrow, single road, continue for around 1/4 mile until you reach the cross roads signed for Pewsey on the left and Woodborough Garden Centre on the right. Turn right towards the Garden Centre, about half a mile along this road (and before you reach very sharp 'S' bends) you will reach the roadside parking used by local ramblers and fishermen to access the canal. Park here and to your right you will see a long straight tree lined Tarmac bridle way leading to our moorings, shown on some maps as Cocklebury Farm. Walk between the farmhouse on your right and a large new build property on your left, through a 5 bar gate, where a short path leads you to 'Ladies Bridge' (120) on the K & A canal. The entrance to our mooring is beside the bridge.
Enter the town of Pewsey on the A345 travelling north. Travelling slowly through the town you will pass the B3087 High St on your right, then the Fire Station on your right, followed by Brromcroft Rd, again on your right. Take the next left, Wilcot Rd, a one way single lane, controlled by speed bumps. At the top of the lane you are controlled by traffic lights over the railway line. Through this jct, keeping the church to your left, take the left hand fork in the the road, along Woodborough Rd, continues along this road for around a mile and you will reach a cross roads, go straight across about half a mile along this road (and before you reach very sharp 'S' bends) you will reach the roadside parking used by local ramblers and fishermen to access the canal. Taking the A361 London Rd out of Devizes, towards Beckhampton and A4, passing B&Q on the right, as you leave the built up area you approach the roundabout with Hopton Ave, with a car sales and petrol station at the roundabout.
Take the 3rd exit, Horton Rd and travel around 5 miles until you reach the 'T' jct at Alton Barnes. Turn right, following this Rd over the canal bridge at Honey St, past the sawmill on your right, along Sands Lane to the village of Woodborough. At the crossroads prior to the traffic calming for the school, turn left signed for Woodborough Garden Centre and through very sharp left hand bend to bring you to the entrance to the Garden Centre on your left. Continue along this road, through a very sharp 'S' bend (be warned) and upon exiting the 'S' bend, about 100 meters along you will reach the roadside parking used by local ramblers and fishermen to access the canal. Park here and to your left you will see a long straight tree lined Tarmac bridle way leading to our moorings, shown on some maps as Cocklebury Farm. Walk between the farmhouse on your right and a large new build property on your left, through a 5 bar gate, where a short path leads you to 'Ladies Bridge' (120) on the K & A canal.
